Winter in every way
_Everyone has their own favorites and, although each season has its own charms, winter is the most wonderful season of the year.
_To start, the season of winter is known for the one color that stands out, white as the snow. Although it may seem dull, snow is a part of the winter spirit; it just wouldn’t be winter without it. Since it is cold to the touch and soft, snow can be made into fun shapes and molds, such as a snowman, a sled-hill, a snow-angel, or a snowball.
_Furthermore it is a season spent with family. You can share your holiday wish list. So that you can be nice and cozy, sitting by a fireplace and drinking hot cocoa make it even more enjoyable with their warm air and creamy chocolate taste.
_Additionally, there are holidays to celebrate in the joyful season of winter. They can get kind of loud, though they are still fun, and the smell of sweets baking is in the air. While you celebrate, you also eat the holiday dinner with your family.
_Whether you celebrate Christmas or Hanukkah, The holidays make this season unique and pleasant.

Engineers want to drill a 12 mile hole through the Andes mountains that will help move water all around Peru. The main goal is to turn coastal deserts into fertile crop-land. It will cost the company over 1 million dollars and they will need a drill 1 thousand feet long, but will it really work? It will be up and running in 2015. What are the risks of this ambitious project, if there even are? The main risk of it is having to much salt buildup that will be toxic to crops. Why is the water access decreasing though? Why do they need the water? The water is scarce and because the glaciers that provide water are melting due to global warming and they are running out. This could be Peru's last stand against nature, or a huge progressive step for all of us.
